Pepper prices today (August 11) remained flat in the domestic market. Currently, Ba Ria - Vung Tau is the locality with the highest price with 74,000 VND/kg.
Domestic pepper price
According to the survey, pepper prices ranged from 71,000 to 74,000 VND/kg in the domestic market.
Records show that Gia Lai and Dong Nai are purchasing pepper at the same price of 71,000 VND/kg.
The two provinces of Dak Lak and Dak Nong continue to apply the common purchasing price of 72,000 VND/kg.
Similarly, pepper prices today in Binh Phuoc and Ba Ria - Vung Tau were also stable at 73,000 VND/kg and 74,000 VND/kg respectively.
World pepper price
According to the update from the International Pepper Association (IPC) on August 10 (local time), the world pepper price compared to August 9 is as follows:
– Lampung black pepper (Indonesia): at $4,134/ton, unchanged
– Brazilian black pepper ASTA 570: at 2,950 USD/ton, unchanged
– Kuching black pepper (Malaysia) ASTA: at $4,900/ton, unchanged
